Through the recommendation of a friend, I heard about Lee Custom Wood Design and Mike Lee’s work. I am an amateur mosaic artist, and I had my attic redone to make a studio. I needed work tables built for the space, so I called Mike. He came the next day to measure the space and hear what I wanted. He gave me great ideas on different styles of tables and what would work best in my space. He came up with plans and built the most beautiful tables – exactly what I wanted. Actually, the tables turned out so much better than I thought they would or could. They make the studio. The tables are sturdy and functional, but also have beautiful and intricate detail that make them look like expensive furniture from a high end store. After he installed the tables (up 3 flights of stairs) I asked him to make closet doors for two open storage spaces. He made beautiful, handmade closet doors that slide. He stained them to match the floor, and even made custom door pulls. I can’t recommend Mike Lee’s work highly enough. He is a true craftsman and artist with an amazing vision – and a great person. I am thinking of new projects to ask him to do in my house as I type this.

We reached out to Mike to see if he could refinish our dining room table and bring it back to its beautiful original state. He sent us a few different drawings based on our needs, and completely nailed what we were looking for.
